This page documents an OPTIMADE Property Definition. See https://schemas.optimade.org/ for more information.
ID: https://schemas.httk.org/defs/v0.1/properties/core/pressure
Definition name: pressure
Property name: Pressure
Description: The pressure of a system, in gigapascal (GPa; 1 GPa = 10^9 Pa). Pressure is positive in compression; stress is tensile-positive. For a hydrostatic state P = -tr(sigma)/3.
A null value means the quantity is not available or not recorded.
Type: float
Implementation requirements:
- Support: OPTIONAL support in implementations, i.e., MAY be null.
